Referring Veterinarians
Our highly trained doctors can provide their services to help your patient’s skin and ear conditions. Working alongside you, our dermatologists can help support your needs and secure a diagnosis, provide recommendations for immediate treatment, and help formulate long-term management plans.
Requirements for Case Consultations

A summary of the case with complete medical records is preferred, including diagnostics and imaging if available

Patients do not need to be fasted nor do their medications need to be altered at this initial visit.

Please advise clients not to bathe their pet within 5-7 days of the initial consultation with our doctors.

Please advise clients to administer appropriate sedatives if the patient is anxious and/or aggressive in the clinic.
Dr. Wyatt has a strong interest in research and clinical trials and is excited to bring this skillset to DCFA!

Nahla
We are incredibly grateful to the team at DCFA for their compassionate care and thoughtful treatment of Nahla's Discoid Lupus. Her poor nose has really been through it as you can see from the photos, however since Dr. Wyatt figured out the most effective medication protocol for her case she has been pain-free and her nose leather is finally starting to heal. While there's no cure, I finally have hope that Nahla will live a long happy life. Thank you, DCFA for everything!
Jax
Jax had Calcinosis Cutis which resulted in a horrible skin disorder on his back. We decided to give Dr. Wyatt’s clinic a shot even though it was a 1.5-hour drive away each way. They took us in immediately knowing the severity of Jax’s case and were nothing but transparent, compassionate, and understanding. Dr. Wyatt was very thorough with her treatment plan for Jax and made sure I was comfortable with it in the entire process. Jax looks great today, even though there’s still some calcium deposit in his skin and patches of fur that would never grow back, but this was all forewarned and expected. We were very happy with our experience with Dr. Wyatt and would highly recommend her!
Bodi
When we first met Dr. Wyatt, Bodi was so sick he wasn’t eating. We had made several trips to the emergency room for what we thought was an ear infection that kept getting worse, but never got any relief for him. Within a single visit with Dr. Wyatt, we were on our way to a diagnosis and on a medication regimen that was actually working. Within a few months, and with constant communication and medication adjustments, we had our happy dog back. It wouldn’t be dramatic for me to say that Dr. Wyatt saved Bodi’s life, and we are forever grateful for the care he received in the moments he needed it most!
Lily
My baby girl has been through a lot in life. Mostly surrounding her feet. After multiple failed treatments of unexplained “allergies”, more than one biopsy, multiple unexplained and aggressive nailbed infections, a devastating diagnosis of cancer (which was thankfully found to be a misdiagnosis), a nailbed infection so aggressive that it would not improve with any prescribed medications and ate through her toe bone leading to the amputation of that toe. I couldn’t take it anymore. My heart was broken, and I couldn’t keep failing my girl. After losing faith in more than one primary veterinary office, I searched for dermatology clinics. I was not going to let this lead to another amputation. I scheduled her an appointment with Dr. Tulloss at the Dermatology Clinic for Animals in April of 2022. They performed a same-day biopsy, and it came back as suspicious for Pemphigus Foliaceus and Vasculitis.

Thankfully, the meds prescribed by Dr. Tulloss got the infection under control and no amputation was needed. This was the first time in more than a year, that I had truly seen medications help heal her. It has not been easy managing her diagnosed autoimmune disorders. But with the help of Dr. Tulloss, Dr. Wyatt, and the sweet staff of vet techs, I no longer feel like I am completely heartbroken and helpless. This clinic has helped me get her health back on track to the best of their ability, and it makes me so happy to see my girl back to her usual self. All of her pads have become and remain healthy, and we are down to monitoring one stubborn nailbed. There was a time that I feared she would not make it to her 8th birthday, but she is now 10 ½. She truly is my best friend, and I will always be grateful that I found her a group of people who have succeeded in their efforts to get her as happy and healthy as possible. Each day is a blessing.
